Waiver & Release of Liability

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY By registering for the Term Finance City League 2026 (“Tournament”), I, the parent/guardian of the registered player, acknowledge and agree to the following: 1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK I understand that participation in football and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, disability, and in rare cases, death. I voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of the registered player. 2. RELEASE AND WAIVER I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Term Finance, its officers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and any affiliated organizations (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, sustained by the registered player while participating in the Tournament. 3. MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION In the event of an emergency, I authorize Tournament officials to seek and obtain emergency medical treatment for the registered player. I understand that I am responsible for all medical expenses incurred. 4. MEDIA RELEASE I grant permission for photographs and video of the registered player taken during the Tournament to be used for promotional purposes by Term Finance and the Tournament organizers. 5. CODE OF CONDUCT I agree that the registered player will abide by all Tournament rules and the decisions of referees, officials, and Tournament organizers. Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in disqualification. 6. PERSONAL PROPERTY I understand that the Released Parties are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property during the Tournament. 7. GOVERNING LAW This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Tournament is held. I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY.

4. Age Verification Documents

Uploaded identity documents (passport pages, birth certificates) are processed by our AI-powered verification system to confirm the player's date of birth and name. These documents are:

Stored securely in Firebase Cloud Storage with access restricted to tournament administrators only
Used exclusively for age verification — never shared with third parties
Deleted after the tournament concludes

5. Children's Privacy

This site collects information about minors (under 18) for the purpose of youth sports registration. All registrations must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian. By completing the registration and accepting the waiver, the parent/guardian consents to the collection and processing of their child's information as described in this policy.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit, access controls to restrict data to authorized personnel, and automated abuse prevention systems.

7. Data Retention

Registration data is retained for the duration of the tournament season and a reasonable period after its conclusion for administrative purposes. Age verification documents are deleted after the tournament ends. You may request early deletion of your data by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:
